Motherhood

So as I stated before we welcomed our little one in October of 2010.  I have to admit that the first month to two months of her existence were incredibly challenging.  We had feeding issues all while trying to adjust to our new lifestyle of three instead of two.  Looking back now I just laugh because I feel like our inexperience was the sole reason for a lot of the problems but hey that is parenthood.  Nobody knows all of the answers and it is one big learning circle!  With that said I have to say that being a mother is one of the MOST rewarding things I have EVER done.  To see her little face light up when I walk into the room absolutely melts my heart.  It is even bringing tears to my eyes to imagine now.  That leads me to another thought... wow how pregnancy and motherhood change you!  I NEVER cried before, just wasn't me but now I can cry at the drop of a hat... I'm an emotional rollercoaster!  And yes unfortunately my body is not the same after having just one but who cares, I have a child that loves me unconditionally in exchange for a stomach that looks like a battlefield of stretch marks... who can resist that?  So to all you mothers out there congratulations, I hope your life feels as complete as mine does now!
